About The Role

Join our dedicated team of Licensed Practical Nurses at The Heights at Mt. View, our long-term care community in the heart of Victoria. In this role, you will:

  • Provide safe, person-centered nursing care to residents.
  • Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary teams on complex care needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments following clinical best practices.
  • Promote resident wellness and support care plan implementation.
  • Monitor safety risks and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation using electronic health records.

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nursing diploma with current BCCNM registration.
  • Experience in long-term, complex, or assisted living care preferred.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (e.g., Point Click Care).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.


Available Lines

We offer a range of LPN opportunities at Heights at Mount View, including permanent, temporary, and casual roles. Flexible scheduling options are available, including shorter shifts, with a mix of day and evening schedules to suit your availability.

*There are currently various Part-time and Casual opportunities available.

Compensation & Benefits

Under the Master Collective Agreement, you'll enjoy competitive wages, extended health and dental coverage, a municipal pension plan, vacation allowances, an employee assistance program, and professional development opportunities. Level 1 LPNs are compensated at an hourly rate of $32.84 to $41.35.
