We are seeking an experienced Administrator to lead Evergreen Care, our Long-Term Care community in White Rock.
In this role, you will provide both operational and clinical leadership while ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and team engagement. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, lead strategic planning and accreditation initiatives, and support Baptist Housing's mission through servant leadership and spiritual care.
Working collaboratively with residents, families, physicians, Fraser Health, and an interdisciplinary leadership team, you will foster a culture of compassion, accountability, and continuous improvement while creating an environment where residents can truly experience life well.
What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day management and overall operations of the Long-Term Care community
- Provide leadership and oversight for resident care, quality improvement, and accreditation activities
- Lead strategic planning initiatives that support the community's long-term growth and operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, the Home and Community Care and Assisted Living Act, Residential Care Regulation, Pharmacy Act, and other applicable legislation
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and responsible stewardship of community resources
- Recruit, mentor, coach, and support leaders and team members while fostering a collaborative and accountable culture
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, Fraser Health, and community partners
- Maintain high standards of clinical oversight, operational excellence, and resident-centred care
- Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met while proactively identifying and mitigating organizational risks
- Support Baptist Housing's vision and mission by integrating compassionate, holistic care throughout the community
What You Bring
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a degree in a related health field
- Current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
Experience
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive healthcare management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and leadership experience
- Experience leading Long-Term Care operations and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Demonstrated success managing budgets, strategic initiatives, accreditation processes, and organizational change
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of the Home and Community Care and Assisted Living Act, Residential Care Regulation, and Pharmacy Act
- Ability to qualify as the Licensed Operator under the Residential Care Regulation and the Home and Community Care and Assisted Living Act
- Operational and clinical leadership within a Long-Term Care environment
- Strategic planning, accreditation, and quality improvement leadership
- Financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight
- Team leadership, coaching, performance management, and succession planning
- Risk management and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong critical thinking, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities

As a faith-based organization, Baptist Housing is committed to providing holistic care. The Administrator serves in a position of Christian leadership and ministry and is required to sign and adhere to the Baptist Housing Statement of Faith.
